Bio
Coach Powers enters his 4th year as an assistant to the Women’s Basketball team after being the programs Head coach for 38 years. Powers played for Butte College winning two state championships as a player before playing for Central Washington University. He took over the reins at COS in 1981 and led the women to a Golden Valley Conference title. He’d go on to win 17 more GVC championships at Siskiyous and 900 + Wins in his Hall of Fame Career.
