Playing Career:
UNIVERSITY OF MAINE FORT KENT: 2013-2015 - Two-year starting Libero for the UMFK Bengals
2011-2013: Two year starting defender for the Shasta Knights at Shasta College, Redding CA
HIGH SCHOOL 2008-2011: 3 years on Varsity as starting Libero.
Coaching Experience:
Coach Petricevic currently coaches the Yreka High School indoor volleyball team. Petricevic
returned to Siskiyou County after being the Interim head volleyball coach at NCAA Division II, Shorter
University, in Rome, GA and assisting the Director of Athletics. During her time at Shorter University,
Petricevic also worked in Sports Information and earned a Master’s degree in Management. While she
was in Georgia, Petricevic also coached 2 seasons of high school volleyball at Unity Christian HS and 2
seasons for Tsunami Volleyball club 16’s & 18’s teams.
In 2016 & 2017, Petricevic was the head volleyball coach for University of Maine at Fort Kent
Women’s team, with two USCAA Division I National appearances. In the 2017 season, her UMFK team
competed in the Final Four of the National tournament. Petricevic also holds the UMFK title for the most
wins in a single season with a 32-8 record.
Prior to coaching at UMFK, Petricevic was awarded a scholarship for their volleyball program
and became the starting libero for two years. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Science. Before
transferring to UMFK, she was a defensive specialist for Shasta College volleyball. Petricevic also played
for the YHS volleyball team for four years.
Jessany resides in Yreka, CA with her husband Stefan, 2 children, Kristian and Sebastian and dog
Finn.
