Key'Shawn Thomas
Key'Shawn Thomas is March's Eagle Male Athlete of the Month. The Eagles have been getting better each week as they look to keep reaching their personal bests before the Golden Valley Conference championship meet at Yuba College. In the two meets the Eagles have attended in the month of March, Key'Shawn has been recording personal bests in multiple events. In last years Shasta College meet he recorded 10.23m in Shot Put, 25.68m in Discus, and 28.67m in the Javelin. This year he has improved those numbers to 11.95m in Shot Put, 34.52m in Discus, and 38.16m in the Javelin. In the GVC he is currently ranked 9th in Shot Put, 13th in Discus, and 7th in Javelin. With only a couple of meets remaining, Thomas is on pace to finish out the season strong and receive All-Conference honors.
