Cheyenne Thompson is October's Eagle Female Athlete of the Month. The Eagles finished the month of October strong going 4-2 and scoring a season high in goals as a team against Shasta with 12. The regular season is over and the lady Eagles had another great season going 10-7-1 overall and 5-4-1 in conference. The Eagles finished second in goals scored in the conference with 49 and also locked in a top 3 seed in the standings after their tie with Butte. Cheyenne has been a reliable and consistent player for the Eagles and her efforts show more than through a stat sheet. She is a model student in the classroom and will give her all on the field to help the Eagles win. Her hardwork and dedication to the Eagle soccer program has not gone unnoticed and she is one of the reasons why the Eagles have been successful these past two years. The Eagles are now waiting to see who they will be playing in the first round of playoffs and will need Cheyenne to keep up her hardwork.
