2022 Men's Basketball GVC Award Winners
The Eagles played hard in the GVC Conference this past year and a few players have been awarded for their efforts from the committee.
1 Zane Lueth
Zane made All-Conference for the Eagles this year and had some amazing dunks to go along with it. This year Zane averaged 9.8 points per game, 4.9 rebounds, and shot just around fifty percent from the field (49.8%). He finished fourth in field goal percentage and sixth in free throw percentage (76.6%) in the GVC.
2 Dylan Neufeld
The Eagles’ leading scorer Dyaln Neufeld made All-Conference as Freshman this year for the Eagles and was a big contributor on offense. Dylan finished fourth among GVC players in scoring with 15 points per game and second in free throw percentage (83%). In his last conference game against Feather River he scored 29 points, hitting 6 of his 10 three-point tries and dishing a team-high 6 assists.
21 Cade Ealy
Cade was dominant all season in the paint for the Eagles this past season and made some amazing passes to his teammates earning him an Honorable Mention. Ealy finished third among Golden Valley Conference rebounders (9.5 per game) and fourth in assists (3.9). Ealy almost averaged a double double for the season only being shy 1.5 points and .5 rebounds.
22 Cole Bernius
Cole earned All-Defense this season for the Eagles and was a menace on the defensive end each night out. He finished fourth in the conference in blocks averaging 0.6 per game and 3.3 rebounds per game. Cole always brought the energy the Eagles needed to give them a boost in close games and hopes to contribute more in the next season.
